The hostel

A unique hostel experience by the lake with a bistro, seminar rooms and its own brewery.

The system of a backpacker hostel is that all beds, with the exception of the double rooms, can be booked individually. This means that it is normal for strangers to share a room.

In our case, however, it is only the 6-bed rooms in which the beds can be booked individually. The 4-bed and 2-bed rooms can only be booked as “private”. So no additional people can get in there.

The family prices per person apply to all family members as long as at least one child is under the age of 16.

All prices include VAT, taxes, bed linen and use of the kitchen.
Please bring your own towel.

Towels are included in the 2-bed rooms.

However, we also have some in stock in case of emergency.

2-bed rooms

1 double bed with two single mattresses, sofa with small lounge table and wardrobe offer comfortable space for 2 people. Shower, toilet and hairdryer are in the room.

4-bed room

Contains 1 bunk bed and 2 single beds. Shower, toilet, wardrobe and a table are available in the room.

6-bed rooms

3 bunk beds offer space for 6 people. The beds can be booked individually. Shower and toilet are in the room. Luggage can be stowed under the specially high bunk beds. The self-programmable safes have space for a 15-inch laptop.

The wheelchair accessible rooms

There are two single beds and a bunk bed as well as a wardrobe in this room. One single bed can be folded up and pushed under the other. Room, shower and toilet are wheelchair accessible. If the room is not used by people in wheelchairs, then the same prices apply as for the 4-bed room. For persons in wheelchairs and their companions, the prices listed here apply.

Fancy a barbecue during your stay at the Lago?

We have 2 “Raumformer” kettle grills that can be rented. Up to 10 people can use it to barbecue in front of the lodge.

The offer includes the barbecue, wood, approx. 250g of meat per person with barbecue sauce (organic pork steak, home-made organic bratwurst) or grilled cheese for vegetarians, bread and mustard.

As we only have 2 grills, the rental must be reconfirmed by us.

For the time being, the barbecue can only be used by guests staying at the lodge. Bookings are made via our own room booking page.

Costs Fr. 15.- per person. With additional green salad Fr. 19.-. When booking, please enter the number of vegetarians under “Comments” and, if you are staying for several days, the desired day.
